-----Original Message----- From: earthtodylan2000 [mailto:sir_dss@...] I'm building a Binary Zone and Dark Star Chaos to fit in my MOTM system. I would like it if everything stayed in the MOTM format. My faceplates are Wiseguy Larry's. I've looked on Dave's Hotrod MOTM page but can't find any information for these parts. 1. I'm having trouble finding the correct pots for the BZ. They use the center indent(?) pots? Anyone have the Mouser(or anyone else) part number? You will not find Bourns or Spectrol center detent pots as a stock item anywhere. If you have controls you want center detent for in the thick Stooge panels, you will need to specify an Alpha carbon pot. You can order from Mouser, part number 313-2000-50K. This will get you a 16mm, 50 K pot with a 1/4" metal shaft. However, be aware that the panel hole is 5/16 instead of 3/8 like the pots we normally use. If you have already drilled them out to 3/8", that is solvable too. You buy a (#5 I think) "O" ring from the plumbing department at Lowes. It makes the 5/16 inch bushing pots fit the 3/8" holes perfectly. 3. The Dark Star has a ON OFF (ON) DPST. Correct? Is there a MOTM standard "wing" shaped one of these? Mouser part number? I have not seen that one. However, ON / OFF / (ON) has to be a Double Throw switch. So, you are looking for SPDT. Some guys used separate pushbuttons for the momentary gate. You have enough space on the Stooge panel to do so. Personally, I used the Blacet supplied switch and decided not to be anal if some of my Blacet modules have the different switches. Larry
