Re: [motm] Power supply retrofit for SKB cases

Right. I have tried to sell a panel like this before. But, I have never
had more than 2 or 3 people interested. Clearly, I cannot get an metal fab
shop interested in making 2 or 3.

Here are some more photos specific to the power supply

The construction is something that can easily be done with nothing more than
a drill, soldering iron and had tools. You can buy a MOTM-900 power supply
and use those parts. Or, buy a power distribution PCB from Paul and get a
power supply from Mouser. My only comment is to use components on the front
panel that all mount in round holes. Square holes are a bitch in this
steel.

I see it mentioned here:
http://www.wiseguysynth.com/larry/skb/skb_back.htm
but it doesn't seem to be available to buy. Any tips for retrofitting
the 900 PS into a 2U panel? It would be nice to free up 3U of module
space.
