Yep.  I ordered two 36 foot cables (purple!), cut them in half and 
added TT plugs on the cut ends.  Now I have four 18 foot cables that 
plug directly into my bay.  I use them for all kinds of stuff, not just 
MOTM.  I had to trim the plastic sheath a bit to get the TT ends to fit 
though.
