Been offline for a couple of weeks, thus the slow response.  When thinking about it later, this was my guess also based on it being stereo.  It's a lot more flexible than the Moog String filter.  Could make a nice generic 24 band filter bank if nothing else.

BTW, I ran across a message on some list where some guy said he was going to sell his old Moog string filter.  His asking price was $2250.  Ridiculous.  Even at Moog CE's insane prices, a new one can be bought for $1350.

Interesting.  But with a hyphen in the name and it being located in the UK instead of NY, it's probably a different company.  This FS string filter was probably just a one man operation.
