well, doepfer seems on the verge of deciding to make a buchla 259 knock-off, and 
bigcitymusic will be selling peter grenader's 258-inspired vcos. last year paul was probing 
around inside some old buchla setup, posting photos to us as he went. that was in happier 
days, though, before the motm backlog had become infinite.

i wonder how buchla's modular re-emergence will affect the production of these various 
immitations? i seem to remember that cynthia's quad lowpass gate was ok'd by don... i 
hope that relationship will continue into the future.
