Dave, I'm a little confused by the choice of a VCO vs. EG. The 310 VCO costs almost twice as much as the 800 EG, and their functions are very different. I don't know what you already have, but if you now own a VCO, a VCF, a VCA and an EG, a second EG would be a good addition. You can put one EG on the VCF and the other on the VCA. Get another MOTM-800 first. Then after that I would look at the MOTM-320 LFO, which can do double duty as a VCO, and which also can drive the hard sync on the MOTM-300 you presumably have (and modulate the 300 PWM input too). -Richard Brewster J.
