Very unusual to say the least. But they are all pretty cool. The problem is that to really use the equipment, you need access to the jacks (as stated above). When mounted, the jacks are inaccessible unless you have 2 - 4 spaces above the unit open. Out of the 6 or so mounting positions, I like the one where all of the controls extend beyond the normal FP plane. In this configuration, it works best at the bottom of a bunch of other equipment because the several rack spaces below it are extremely obscured. While it does have additionally functionality as stated previously, it is not as full-featured as normal modular (eg. MOTM) units would provide in terms of tweakability. The manual has some really unique, cool graphics to explain how the unit functions.
