Exactly! I've always made the same analogy, like knitting, but only for Paul's kits. The more I have order piece parts, measure, cut and tin my own wires, etc., for semi-DIY, the more non-therapeutic it becomes. At least I don't have to make my own PCBs and panels as in the early 1980s. That was the biggest deterrent/time waster back then.
