Off topic, but I couldn't resist. A neat circuit for debouncing a switch using 1/6 of a CD4010 chip can be found in Electronotes #73, page 11. It is a simple positive feedback loop using a single 1K resistor from the output back to the input. The switch is SPDT between gound and Vcc. No capacitor is needed. It acts as a latch. Any CMOS gate (two inverters for example) would work.
