Just a few points. Yes, some of us who haven't chimed in didn't do so because we aren't overly concerned with every little layout detail. After all the bitching about small knobs almost everybody ended up liking the layout that uses all small knobs except one. Also when you concider that there are controls that don't require super accuracy and functions that will seldom be used, large knobs for everything doesn't seem necessary. I would like the FS to look different than a standard 8 knob motm module. In addition, the larger the knob, the more loose feeling the movement like some of the motm knobs that feel like they'll move if you blow on them. As for schematics, people shouldn't need to hack into a product that doesn't have shortcomings. The time to get things right is before it goes into production, not after. Based on what Tony says, it doesn't sound easily repaired without specialized equipment. However, I've repaired stuff without schematics, so it's possible. Either you need a FS for its functionality or you don't. I don't think you'll get schematics with any other currently shipping FS not to mention most other gear in general. -Elhardt
