can anyone tell me if this is normal

this is a MOTM, oscillator into filter into vca, with the vca CV controlled
by an envelope.

hear the clicking?

Is this normal?

Attack is not set to 0 (ie there is a bit of attack), if i turn the attack
up, it still clicks even when i have an obvious ramping attack. if i turn
the filter cutoff down, it still happens. I have other samples with varyoing
levels of attack/filter, all the same.

It's not the VCF, it's not the sequencer, and it's not the envelope (tried
all different ones), and no, it's not my amp/mixer/computer, etc. If I use
a VCA from another synth, it doesn't happen. I'm told the VCA is
"performing within spec", but I can't get it to make a bass note without a
major click. Am I the only one who has this problem? Am I doomed to not
use my MOTM for bass notes?

Thoughts?

Paul
