I am having so much fun reading everyone elses entries that I would feel
guilty if I didn't do this.

Name: Ben Vehorn

Age: 29

Occupation: Title changes, but job stays the same--mostly UNIX stuff.

Location: Delaware, USA

MOTM stuff: at least one of each. Gets more use than my big Moog.

Other synth stuff: Too much. My main weaknesses are modulars (duh),
polysynths (I particularly like the Korg PS stuff) and EMS stuff. I am
still convinced that there are little elves running around inside the
VCS3 performing magical spells.

Musical likes-- I like just about any type of music but dislike 99.99%
of the bands/performers doing it. All time favs include Joy Division/New
Order, Throbbing Gristle, Big Star, Nick Drake, Kraftwerk, Eno, Neil
Diamond, Tangerine Dream (pre mid-80s), Wipers, Rites of Spring, etc.
Current faves are Magnetic Fields, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, FSOL,
Void, Perez Prado, Neu, Cluster, Xavier Cugat, and Miles Davis "Agharta"
(blows doors on "Pangaea", IMO).

Other things I like: Horror movies, particularly European stuff
(Rollins, Argento, Bava, Fulci), Jodorowsky's "Holy Mountain", Comics
(Jeff Smith, Vaughn Bode, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman) and time off from
work to play...
