> In the music and pro-audio industries "Swag" means "stuff we all give/get" as in promotional items such as t-shirts, etc. After a while you end up with drawers of black t-shirts with every logo imaginable. Lots of pens too. > This swag tangent's starting to get a little old, but... Swag & shwag are words that sound similar, but mean the opposite. Swag is booty or loot - something valuable, like a prototype MOTM module. Shwag is junk; you hear people refer to the free stuff they get a trade shows as shwag. It used to be a term for bad marijuana, too. If you watch Letterman, you might remember Manny the stoner. He would give Letterman his opinions on current events. Everything was either "shwag", which meant it was bad, or "dank", which meant it was good!
