I did pretty much the same thing for my Kenton Pro-2000, except I also added 4 sets of Quad-Multiples Jacks to the panel (I come from the school that believes you can never have too many multiples, mixers, or envelope generators-see attached diagram). This arrangement has served me well so far, and it is completely non-destructive to the Pro-2000.
