But what about the Pan/Fade VCA, SEM filter, Pre > Amp/Envelope Follower and the rest of the 500 series (Rhythm Wheel, > Envelope nest, Pulse Divider etc)? To be honest I'd rather see a > lot more of these get into production than a low pass gate. Wow. I want those! A Pan/Fade VCA and Envelope net would be wonderful. Really complex sounds can be made from lots of envelopes. A pan/x-fade module would get me the most excited though. A quadraphonic rotary fader would be sweet too: CV X + CV Y = *swooosh* I imagine this has been broached before, but Paul, have you ever considered streamlining production with surface mount versions of the modules? I understand there are some issues one has to deal with when doing SMT, and some purists may complain about not being able to enjoy the pleasure of hand soldering their modules ;) However... ...producing your modules (even partially) in a SMT design could lower overall cost and reduce your workload, freeing up time to design more modules for us and expand the MOTM line ;) I see you're starting to already do this with your latest 5V line, and that makes a lot of sense. I personally would like to see more modules, and I imagine many here on this list would too. --mikes
