Please! Keep black panels!!

Signal flow = Fine.
Fancy smancy = No.
white & color2 = Interesting - could look good if done right.
white & color2 & color3 = Nah.
Acid trip = Please, don't.

Different size knobs = Good.
One or two colored knobs = Could look cool.
Psycho knobs = NO.

Jacks not on grid = OK.
Knobs not on grid = Ok - if not too closely spaced.
Tons of closely spaced knobs = don't go there!

Overall, I think varied placement and knob sizes would provide easier module
identification and I'm all for it, provided it's done in a well thought out
