Uploaded some various demos of the MOTM-450 Fixed Filter Bank to the following directory: http://www.synthech.com/demo/ffb Various source material is used to try to show what the filter sounds like. It's sort of difficult in a way, like trying to demo EQ. And then the MP3 encoding gets in the way. Most of the demos are the source being filtered by 1 band or sets of bands at a time, then manually tweaking those bands "down" while bringing others "up". The filter frequencies are the same as the Moog 907A, but the filter circuit is completely different. We use a specific audio topology called a FDNR (fud-ner, or Frequency Dependent Negative Resistance) that has linear phase and very very low noise and distortion (this is the filter type used on Apogee DACs and ADCs). Thanks for listening. Paul Schreiber Synthesis Technology
