Depending on your hardware/software (I've got Sonar) you can enter in chords sorta like that strummer thing you mentioned, then on playback, have the midi note numbers/turn-ons slightly delayed starting from the root up, or top down. In sonar there is a CAL programmer utility which allows you to custome write code to do this action upon execution. Easier still, you can download a ton of prewritten CALs 'scripts' off their site, etc. Just one option to mention...hope it helps. Rog
