That is why I was wondering.  I bought some +/- 15 V 1500ma marked 1993 for
$15 which was a decent deal.  I ordered 2 +/-15 volt 5000ma with a date code
of 1998 for $24.95 each.

So, I think results may vary.  Some of you that have bought???
