MOTM

The RM you get out of the 190 is really sweet, especially if you use 
the 'purer' sine waves from self-oscillating filters.  Combining RM 
with other elements can really create some lovely textures!

Here's the patch info.  Note that ALL of the timbres in the demos 
that Paul has posted use this patch.  Basically I wanted to combine 
VCO-based voices with an RM voice and put that through the 
exponential part of the 190:

VCO Voices
* OUT of a 310 (full PULSE) into FM1 of a 300. Linear FM at about 1.5.
* OUT of another 310 (full PULSE) into FM1 of another 300. Linear FM 
at about 1.5.
* All four VCOs have their 1V/OCT fed by my Kenton Pro Solo
* SAW OUTs of 300s into IN1 and IN2 of a 490.

RM Voice
* 420 in self-oscillation feeds IN1 of 190.
* 440 in self-oscillation feeds CV1 of 190.
* BLEND of 190 somewhere above 5.
* OUT1 of 190 feeds IN3 of 490.
* Both filters have their 1V/OCT fed by my Kenton Pro Solo.

* 800 + feeds the 490 FM

Exponential Out
* OUT of 490 feeds IN2 of 190
* 800 + feeds CV2 of 190
* 190 L/E switch set to E, CV at 10, GAIN at 0
* 190 OUT2 to the console for recording

The tuning of the 420 and 440 make a difference in timbre, as does 
the amount of BLEND.  So does the tuning of the 310s and the FM1 
amount of the 300s.  THE ADSR values for for the 800 feeding the 190 
are pretty critical: set them so that you get snappy response without 
clicks.  The 800 to the 490 is less critical, but does make a 
difference.  Finally, the GAIN on th 190 can be fun to play with, 
too, once you have the envelope just right!
