MOTM

Hi,
 I have four blue LEDs on my MOTM-ized Wiard Miniwave. I like the deep color 
blue, but they are a little uncomfortable to look at directly. I installed 
much larger resistors to help dim them, but they are still a little hard to 
look at directly.

  What's strange is that my Sony audio/video receiver has a long / narrow 
blue LED, but it's doesn't give the same "burn a hole in the retina" effect 
as other blue LEDs. This LED is actually quite nice to look at. Kind of 
serene! I wonder if a blue MOTM-style Lumex LED would be any easier on the 
eyes?
