This was one thing I though about too.  I have some really thin white tape 
(about 1/16" or so), but I figured it would eventually peel off.  Perhaps 
your tape recommendation is better.  I also considered those rub on dry 
transfers.  But the pictures I have seen look like there is an actual 3D part 
in there.  They usually don't go all the way to the top and bottom of the 
module either, I figured because the mounting rail got in the way.  I will 
look into your tape suggestion though.
