Hello All,

It was great to meet the fellow MOTMers and everyone else at
the "middle-of-absolutely-nowhere" AHMW get toghether (ok it HAD to
be somewhere if we were all there). Guess I was right when I
envisioned Larry selling Beanie Babies, Amish paraphenalia, and MOTM
accessories outta his roadside, car trunk! (oh yeah, and 4.991 ohm
1% resistors...) Laughs...

Thanks for the cables and things Larry- I think they'll also work
nicely (the cables) on next years Christmas tree - they're so vibrant!

Now I'm just alittle (alot) more jacked to get what I have so far
into a freakin cabinet and all patched up...

I did sorta flashback to earlier days-when Guitar Center HAD analog
synths and the sounds of the place, while walking around, would
inspire visions of Tomita on aeroplane glue when everybodies
sequencer was doing a very different sequence, nothing was really in
tune, lotsa noise blerps and qwuarks, and somehow, I remember the
late 60s and 70s as being so completely motivating and wonderfully
creative. been along time since then - but NOT in Lagrange Indiana
last Sat.. I think next year we should get ZZ Top to show up...

It was cool, when something would sorta just pop out and be like a
performance...we need more of that!

Hey - anyhow - it was a pleasure to be there and maybe, perhaps next
year, some may put their heads together and figure out how we could
get more MUSIC out of the whole thing...might be a good move and
appreciated by the obviously 'sainthooded' wives and family members
who were there for the whole day wondering just what is Daddy doing
this for??? I mean this all in the best of spirits -
I think I mentioned to Mike (Wiard) that my wife would very easily
rather burn in hell than attend that day...a little organized music
however might make it worthwhile, especially to those who may find
themselves still explaining their utter fascination with all these
knobs, lights, and patchcords...to their loved ones.

Just an idea...

"sue me if I play too long..."
