MOTM

I think I posted a mini review of the Doepfer ribbon when I got it - 
nothing has changed yet. To recap:

Smooth plastic on top with embedded sensor, not a ribbon at all.
Playing surface feels good.
Module electronics all wrong, need to be replaced entirely.
Choice of USB connector dumb.
