Of the proposed modules, the dual vca would be the hottest, as long as it will easily support voltage controlled panning. > > Dual VCA (130) > > Triple Preamp > > Envelope Follower > > VC Pulse Divider > > VC Envelope Generator (880) > > JH interpolating scanner > > JH-5 style dual LPF Here are a few ideas that may be a little "out there": Preset panel/wiring kit (The "spaghetti in your guts" module) A simple panel and wiring kit that would support configuring 2 or 3 semi-permanent normalized presets. Switch it in, and it would make the 5-10 connections inside your case for a basic patch. Switch it out, and it does nothing. Pro-One/MacBeth Kit A kit for a complete basic lead synth similar to a Pro-One (without the keyboard) or a MacBeth. Two basic VCOs, noise, a LFO, a VCF, a VCA, two EG's, switches for selecting modulation routing, a basic Midi converter, and jacks for the most commonly used cv modulators in and out. 1 panel, 5U by 19". This could be used for live performance and situations where you want MOTM quality, but also need rapid switching of common modulations. Quantizer - CV in, quantized cv out. It should support several selectable equal tempered "quantizations" and just intonations, too. Filter bank companion: How about a companion module to the fixed filter bank that would take an audio signal, split it into control signals based on the settings of the filter bank, and use these control signals to modulate a second audio signal. I'm not sure if this would make sense or not, but it seems like there would be a lot of cool things one could do with a modular approach to a vocoder. Anything else weird on people's wish list?
