Thanks for the suggestions on the PICs.

I installed an XM radio in my car a little over a week ago (a 
Delphi.)
Although I haven't had too much time to scan the dial, there does 
seem to be a lot of good content.  Last week I had to drive about 
400 miles on business and the radio worked flawlessly.  I did run 
across at least one station playing electronic music, as well as 
some good prog rock and a pretty good selection of other musical 
forms.  I like the news as well and got a lot of laughs out of the 
comedy stations.  Since I drive about 25K miles a year on business 
I'm very pleased to have it especially since every radio station in 
the country plays the same 20 songs.  I have found that I can also 
plug my iPod into the FM modulator and play my Ipod through my car 
stereo as long as the XM is turned on.  COOL!!!
