I have the OD listed as 0.492" (12.5mm) for all
SB4011's.  I agree; a 1/2" hole would be perfect. 
This also happens to be the same hole diameter as
Moe's E-Switch pushbutton, so there should be an easy
swap-out if anyone would ever choose to do that.

I am not sure what the specced paint thickness is on
the surface.  Nor on the hole.  Paul?  Larry?
