Good thing you're not in Michigan! You'd still be expected to get your sorry butt to work! We have a thing on the west side of the state called 'lake effect'. Lake M acts like a big heat sink as the storms move across it and really messes with the weather! Last summer was warmer then normal so the lake stored up a lot more energy and paid us back this winter with several thunder snow storms (talk about weird) and tons of snow. Have fun kitting! -----Original Message----- From: Paul Schreiber [mailto:synth1@...] Sent: Monday, February 24, 2003 11:45 PM To: MOTM listserv Subject: [motm] Ice Station Zebra ((obscure '70s movie reference)) Well, it's 18F outside and raining ICE (not snow, ICE). By tomorrow, they are predicting 3 to 5 INCHES of SOLID ICE covering everything. No schools or business will be open until Thursday! So, nothing will ship until the thaw. Meanwhile, I'm captive here, kitting and soldering :) Paul S. brrrrrr Your use of Yahoo! Groups is subject to http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/
