I am certainly wanting to hear all opinions and feedback.  When I ask for
quotes, I also intend to ask for samples so I can treat them mean and see
how they hold up.  This project is for YOU guys IF you are interested.  So,
don't be shy about giving me your $.02 good bad or whatever.

I don't wish to annoy, but a good heat-shrink sleeve material and decent
plug/cable connection will not have problems such as you describe.  I have
been using 3-M heat-shrink tubing, Switchcraft 280 plugs, and Belden 9778
cable for years with no difficulties in applications far more destructive
than modular synthesis.
