I have a bunch of cables like that and with enough cable usage the heat strink will slide down when pulling the cable out of a jack. The heat strink would probably have to come down infront of the plug to help prevent that, but then who knows how well it will seat in the jack, not to mention that you won't be able to open up the plug to fix it if needed without destroying the heat shrink. >>If you are, or are not, interested in the cool retro looking cloth look.<< I could be wrong, but that sounds like typical ugly cloth guitar cable. When will somebody provide glow-in-the-dark patchcords? I think Horizon makes GID cable. -Elhardt
