I'm at the end of the 410 kit and I have a question about the wiring of the Borns pots

On page 12 it says to wire the white wire to the left lug and the orange wire to the right lug.

Which lug is which?  Right and left are relative to how you are looking at the pot.  Does anyone know what number corresponds to which wire?  The pots have numbers for each lug.
