I know we've hashed a lot of this out before. But; There is a difference between a trigger delay and a gate delay. You can make a trigger delay with the aforementioned patch. I would call it a conditional trigger delay because if you release the undelayed gate signal before the 700 has switched the delayed trigger never happens. A true gate delay would delay both the start and end time of the gate preserving it's length. It could be conditional if the delayed gate terminated when the undelayed gate terminated (this would then change the length of the gate) or it could be unconditional if the delayed gate were produced in its entire length even if the undelayed gate were prematurely terminated.
