In my web surfing I came across an interesting analog physical modeling and 
wind controller site. Link is below. There are schematics for various 
oscillators and some kind of wave warper. There's a picture of a custom build 
analog synthesizer with 36 band filter bank.  There's a couple of MP3 files.  
There is what kind of sounds like a pretty good recorder like sound in the 
Telemann MP3.
