That's pretty cool. The strapped-on computer keyboard reminds me of this band O.R.I. that was around a few years ago. They had laptops, but strapped computer keyboards to control the samples they played. It was all in real time, with no midi or sequencing. But the music was all samples, generated from a program they wrote called Back to Basics. It's pretty lo-fi, but they certainly rocked out, geek style.
