I think the front panel stuff will be the largest part of the assembly time
if the SMD stuff is wave soldered.  So, I agree partial kits is an option I
too would like to see.

Paul let everyone know that many of the new MOTM modules will not be kits,
due to the use of surface mounted parts and the large number of parts on a
circuit board.  Wouldn't it be possible to have a partial kit that includes
a fully assembled circuit board, except for the wires attaching to panel
hardware?  I was wondering if some of the new modules might be offered this
way, so that all the customer has to do is assemble the panel and wire it
up.  Admittedly, the difference in kit price from assembled might not be
much.  But it could save Paul some assembly time.  And we know Paul's time
is precious.
