1) What is it that you are sampling? Also, be sure the switch is in HOLD,
not TRACK
(be sure the switch is wired correctly.

The output of a S&H is *always* a CV, not audio. The input can be audio, but
*not* the output.

2) No, it is fixed at 7Hz.
