Hello list,
  Im in the middle of a project here at school and I have a question 
for the tech-dogs out there..(sorry, Im not on s-diy)  Reply off list 
please (revtor@...) if you want.  Im making a 6v battery powered 
lamp light when I close a switch.  I want the lamp to fade in when 
switched on and fade out when switched off.  Just a short enough fade 
to be noticeable.  My question is if I can just put a cap in the 
circut to make this happen?  If this will work, what would be a 
suggested value to start with?  If the cap thing wont work, what is 
the easiest way to get this effect?
