This reminds me of another question I've been meaning to ask: what do folks do these days when they want to make a couple of custom PCBs? Last time I thought about this was when I was about 13 and stained the carpet in my bedroom (oops) with that nasty brown etchant that you could buy at Radio Shack, along with "resist pens" (re-branded Sharpies) and copper-clad stock.
