One sequencer that is quite interesting (actually, it's damn groovy)  is the
Latronic Notron.

Admittedly, unashamedly digital (midi outs only), but, it kicks ass.  I know of
no other sequencer that is even close to what it can do.  I looked at all of
them on the market, and decided on this one.
