I recommend getting your Time Machine before ordering a Stooge panel. Then you will not get stuck with a panel that has no module to go behind it. Along that same line I should advise you that eventually, certain Stooge designs will disappear from regular production runs. Examples are panels for modules no longer in production or in very short supply. The Dark Star and Time Machine and possibly the Encore Expressionist breakout panel fall into this category. (Tony K, correct me if I am wrong about Expressionist availability). The way Moe and I keep the cost of custom screened panels reasonably low involves several factors. But, printing multiple copies is one of those methods. For example, each time we print from an existing design, we have to pay a $10 set up fee no matter how many we print. Since we don't make a $10 profit on that panel, we go in the hole if we print only one. Our pricing structure is based around an average of printing 20 the first time through and at least 4 or 5 each time thereafter. That lets us spread fixed cost for the initial screen and subsequent set ups across several panels, keeping the price low. I only mention this because once we pull a design from regular production (like the Dark Star will certainly be) we can still make them, but the price will increase slightly to reflect the fact that we are only printing one or two. Of course, some panels are more popular and slightly subsidize others (OK, I really mean we make more money on the popular ones <snicker>). But, that is just the nature of the process. The bottom line is, if want one of these particular panels, you should order them this time around to avoid a higher price later. One more item and I will shut up. If you got stuck with a panel and have no module, PLEASE let me know. Since we will be taking orders VERY soon, I will know if someone wants the one you are stuck with. I can hook you up with a buyer and save you $$ and the buyer some delivery time. Stooge Larry P.S. Stooge trivia - The JLH-822 is the most requested Stooge panel. The Blacet / Wiard Miniwave will probably overtake it one day. ----- Original Message ----- From: John Blacet <blacet@...> Since another run of stooge panels is coming soon, we have added the Time Machine motm-ized version back on our store page: http://www.blacet.com/store2.html A couple folks with MN3005s in hand have asked for a "3005-less kit". The TM requires one MN3005 and we can discount the kit $25 if you ask for this via email after placing yur order. You may of course pay via Pay Pal or MO as well as the credit card page. It's only luck that we managed to find some more MN3005s, so while luck may strike again, I have to mention that supplies of the TM in any form are very short and may vanish at any time. We can't save them for folks; it's "first come.....". Regards, ----------------------------- John Blacet Blacet Research
