RE: How to survive at Rat Shack

1999-09-14 by Tkacs, Ken

I think you've hit the nail on the head!

		From: "Dave Bradley" <daveb@...>

		1. Go directly to the back of the store. Do not ask the
sales drone for
help. Respond with a "No, thanks" if the sales drone asks if
he can help
you. You already know the answer to that question.

		2. Search for what you want. This shouldn't be hard since
most Rat Shacks
now allocate only about 3 panels to electronic components.

3a. Find the part. Purchase it. Hooray - you've beat the
odds.
3b. Find the empty tag where the part should be. Don't
bother asking if they
have any more in back. They will tell you they don't without
checking. Give
them the Rat Shack part number and ask them to call any
other Rat Shacks in
the area. They can handle this task.
		3c. Go elsewhere.
