There really isn't one. Your best bet is the web! (I'll be lazy here: you may have to "Google" these) Analog Devices: www.analog.com has many audio app notes Linear Technology: ditto. THAT Corp: wonderful compressor schematics. 99% of every compressor made uses these app notes. www.geofex.com I think that's how you spell it. 1.34 zillion guitar pedal schematics www.rane.com has 100s of schematics of just about everything they ever made www.schematicconnection.com is pay-for service, but looks reasonable and the have a boatload The closest book is probably "audio Circuits" by John Linsley Hood ISBN 0-7506-4332-3. Get the 2nd Edition. Now, an "odd duck" of a book that I read once every 2 years for *pure enjoyment* is: "The Art and Science of Analog Circuit Design" by Jim Williams ISBN 0-7506-7062-2. WARNING! This is a collection of *essays* about the joy of being in the 'analog world'. The topics *vary a great deal*. My favorite is the essay on ship's clocks in the 1600-1700s. However, this is easily my favorite "desert island" book (well, and Huckleberry Finn).
