Moe has a good cabinet design breakdown: http://www.hotrodmotm.com/cab.htm and I've made some notes about why I built my cabinets the way I did: http://www.tellun.com/users/scott/motm/About_Darmok.txt For those, like me, that never got an A in woodshop either, about the only extra thing I'd recommend is to leave room for error. I added 1/8" to the inside measurement (vertical and horizontal) for each row to account for my slack wood working skills, and I'm sure glad I did. Much of that extra bit of space was used up by layers of paint or removed while filing/sanding. The final product has small gaps between the module rows, about 1/16", but they aren't noticeable. The extra space just makes it all the more convenient to get modules in and out when you need to rearrange the modules (love those flat rails).
