Hmmm… I wonder, could a ribbon controller be designed to use the existing MOTM-850?
BTW, I would welcome a ribbon controller if anyone in our MOTM circle were to develop one (sorry, no brand D for me)!

hello all,
Your use of Yahoo! Groups is subject to the Yahoo! Terms of Service.
i came across this via the gas station - Doepfer A198 ribbon controller E
(that's euros)150 / $150 production TBA or sometime after MusicMesse
so - how do we get hold of the ribbon hardware and bypass the brand D
interface..? or to put it another way, i would "almost" definately buy one
of these for use with a brand "S" interface
cheers

The ribbon controller went on the back burner with
the tube distortion. However, both are still on my to-do list. In
fact, I have all the material I want to try and work with on the ribbon
controller. I need to experiment with how to get it to have some spring up
to it, but not be too hard to push. I am thinking about a nice walnut wood
base thing. But, I am talking a simple single zone all analog thing.
Anyone wanting multiple zones, center where you drop your finger and all that
stuff will need to look at the KW thingy. Hell, mine may never work.
:) I am a Stooge afterall.
