telling a number of people, that the 820 was the first lag processor 
that had separate rates for rise and fall. I honestly thought that 
was true, and no one had corrected me. Yesterday, I was flipping 
through the manual for the Emu modular, and it looks like its lag 
processor also had separate timing for rise and fall. Is this true??

You bet your booty!

I can take full credit for being the original list nag when it was 
time to design a lag processor. I held up the E-MU module as the 
example of the most 'studly' lag processor ever previously made . So 
the separate rise and fall times came from the E-MU, although the 
MOTM-820 raises the bar is several other areas.
