I do understand the problems with converting normalled connections over to bananas, and am sure I will make many mistakes along the way. It's been awhile since I've built any kits (think PAIA when they first started...damn am I getting old!) I gave serious thought to using the Converter panel, but as mentioned before, I'd almost need 1 panel for each 2 modules I want to interface. If I get to a point where I *have* to build special cables or use the patch panel, I will, but I feel that restricts flow when patching and will go to great lengths to avoid that. Thanks for you offer to help. Looking forward to seeing what you did to your 800s. I'm slowly working on a section of my website for the trials and tribulations of assembling a modular. I'll be adding the mods that I'm having to make to panels as I go along as well. The main MOTM modules currently being considered are 4 800s. While Modcan has a GREAT VC ENV, but I don't need a $200 VC ENV for everything! So I'm filling out some there. Will probably add 2 quad LFOs as well shortly. Will mod those with CV inputs for each LFO instead of the normalled connections. Can't wait to see the configuration of the "Envelope Nest" 500 module!
