looks like i'm in the minority here, but i would prefer a number of
smaller modules... the ones on the page i would buy are:

4U MM (though i'd advocate splitting the mode switches off into a sep.
module, in which case i'd get both the 2U MM and the 2U Mode Switch
modules)

1U gate/pulse expander
1U set/pos expander

if the 8U was produced, though, i'd buy it... though it would likely take
me some time to save up for.
