I am just about complete with the first complete draft of the instructions for building the Time Machine into the MOTM format behind a Stooge panel. I will not be 100% complete with the photo documentation until I assemble my Time Machine # 2. I made some changes after I finished my first one (and took the photos). The instructions will include two fully tested modifications that fix the issue concerning clock lock-up when negative control voltage is applied to the delay CV jack or to the external modulation CV jack. This was brought up and discussed on the list a few days ago. The first ideas tossed around here on the list to shunt the negative voltage to ground with a resistor and diode worked, but had a negative impact on calibration and upper range of the clock. The final solution is completely tested and works without effecting the correct operation of the Time Machine in any way. I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank John Blacet for his feedback on modification ideas and issues. Certainly, John is readily available and puts customer service high on his priority list. Kudos to John and Paul S. both for their responsive nature to their customers (and amateurs like me that want to play synth engineer). I will have the instruction text up tomorrow. Photos and links in the text to photos will appear as soon as I finish Time Machine # 2. I will also put together a separate modifications document for those that have already built theirs or don't want to follow my detailed instructions. I will roll Dave Bradley's bypass switch modification into that document so that all modifications are assembled in one convenient location. Larry Hendry
