Congrats Paul on all that you have accomplished. You are an inspiration to us all. Have a great time at NAMM and take lots of photos ...especially the ones of famous people with MOTM systems in the background. :) Stooge Larry Off to drill some more holes and try and get that SKB case back fabbed up (I have not forgotten). Last of parts should arrive for MOAJI prototype tomorrow ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul Schreiber <synth1@...> To: MOTM listserv <motm@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Monday, January 14, 2002 10:17 PM Subject: [motm] Not dead yet I was able to ship small orders out today. I will mail (or wife will) a few more tomorrow. Mainly, orders that need MOTM-900 supplies (I'm about to make up 10 kits). After putting in 18hr days, EVERY DAY since Jan. 2nd, I'm pooped. I tried to ship as much as I could. Some of you will no doubt be P.O.'d that nothing has shown up for you in like 2 MONTHS. Believe me, I know. Contrary to popular belief, I did not finish Ghost Recon and Castle Wolfenstein while eating bon-bons. Rather: a) with JH and OC, designed, pc fabbed, designed sheet metal AND tested 6 new modules b) shipped 44 assembled modules, reducing the backlog by 50% c) ordered over $13,000 worth of parts d) with help from Stooge Larry, designed new NAMM flyer (photos, retouching, etc) SO, there is still plenty of work to be done BEFORE the 6 new modules are ready. a) assembled backlog to ZERO b) kits backlog to ZERO c) CEM chip backlog to ZERO This will take until about Feb. 10th or so. THEN, the new stuff (and the new website) will magically appear, just so I can be loaded up again :) Not that *I* complain. I just ask for patience. My intentions are good. Remember, I go have a family (well, I hear noises at the bottom of the stairs, and food is missing) AND a "real job" as well. I think I'm doing pretty darn good. But, I also know that my lead times are stretching out. The MicroModules will help as they have 1/2 to 1/3 of the parts of regular" modules. Meaning less labor to kit AND to assemble. I will scan and post up the NAMM flyer before I leave. I will have NO email, or phone until next Wednesday the 23rd. Paul S.
