a) JH's design will be looked at as YAMM (yet another MicroModule). b) The intent of the MicroModules is twofold: 1) people who constantly tell me "MOTM is too expensive" 2) small portable systems Also, these are all VERY EASY kits to build, perfect gifts and for novice DIY. The main cost of these is the front panel. I am looking at a new supplier that may help. Ask Stooge Larry about dealing with metal shops (you take a shower after every phone call). I would *love* to offer a $69 kit, but the panel cost needs to be 1/3rd of the current price. I am not happy with the pricing and lead times of my current supplier. The quality is fine, I can drive there to pick up. But they just view me as "small potatoes". I am paying $13.70 for the panels, which is WAY TOO MUCH. I have to work this week for NAMM. I will get back to shipping/packing/kitting Thursday. Please be patient, I'm going as fast as I can. I'm getting NAMM out of the way now so I can ship products up until I leave, and not scramble like a madman like last time (where they gave me 3 weeks notice). The SEM filter will ship next year. That, the CS-80 filter, and the double Moog are the "big 3" filters for 2002. I am also planning the 500 Series of Weird, and other goodies as well. There are many designs left to offer, just keep buying to keep the cash flow positive :) Paul S.
